Eid-ul-Azha is the second most important festival in Islam. Eid-ul-Azha is also known as the greater Eid and Eid of Sacrifice. It basically commemorates the faith of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) to sacrifice his son for Allah’s sake. Allah saved his son and a lamb was sacrificed in his place. It is because of this holy incident in the history of Islam that the Muslims now celebrate Eid-ul-Azha every year to earn Allah’s blessings and forgiveness. Govt. of Pakistan announces schedule of holidays for Eid-ul-Azha. Muslims of all over the world celebrates this special day.
